Tear Drop Racking or "Drive In" Racking
We can supply this as 'drive in pallet racking' for pallet storage or with 'internal wire decks' for hand picking.Although, it could be believed that all tear drop racks are the same and so it makes sense to choose 'cheap racking' - it can be a costly mistake. We install the highest quality tear drop racking (at very little cost difference to 'cheap racking suppliers') as we know that buckled or damaged racking can cause injury to employees, damage expensive equipment, can lead to stored merchandise being damaged and loss of time and money in being repaired or replaced. Buying second hand or used pallet racking, for the same reasons, can be just as costly.
Single-Deep and Double-Deep Selective Rack Systems
Probably the most common racking system we install is 'deep selective' racking either single or double deep.As pallet racking systems go, single-deep selective racking is the most popular, as it is so versatile. The benefit of this type of design is that it provides ready access to every stored load.
Double-Deep selective racking can increase the cube density of your warehouse yet still maintain over 50 percent selectivity. Usually, a double deep reach truck is required with these storage racking systems, which some operators believe is a difficult piece of machinery to operate.
Stack Racking Systems
Stack racking systems, is a clever storage solution. In essence they are 'steel pallets' with steel posts that can be stacked on top of each other. When pushed together, end to end, they can save up to sixty percent on your storage space.
Gravity Flow Rack
Gravity flow racking, sometimes referred to as 'bulk racks' or 'box flow racks' or 'flow through racks' or (mainly in the USA) 'carton flow racks' allow for better productivity and workflow as they increase ease and speed of 'hand picking'. Other benefits are that the product is automatically rotated on a first in, first out basis - managing stock control as well as easier handling.Cantilever Racks
